Yesterday (August 29th), I had a Homeschool Leaders luncheon. This was for leaders of NCHE Region 1. We met up in Cashiers at our Region 1 directors house. What a blessed time we had! We had 5 counties represented! It is wonderful to be able to get together with other leaders of groups to talk about what all is going, problems that you may be having and the possibility of getting together with other groups. I think I enjoyed it more for the fellowship with one another. You could tell by listening to each other how God has blessed each of our groups. God brings people in your life for a reason. As leaders, your goal is to have a support group to give support to fellow homeschoolers in your area.
I know God has allowed me to be a leader and what an honor it is. I love each of our families in our homeschool group. They are such a blessing and have been there for me in some tough times. That is what a homeschooling support group is all about.
I do my best to help lead the group the way God wants me to. God has continued to bless our group and I pray that we continue to give him all the glory!
