The Simple Woman’s Daybook

The Simple Woman’s Daybook

Outside my window…I see the day the Lord has given me.

I am thinking…of how blessed I am.

I am thankful for…for my family who loves me unconditionally.

From the kitchen…a floor that needs sweeping and mopping.

I am wearing…shorts and a t-shirt.

I am creating…a to-do list.

I am going…to take a few moments and read a book.

I am reading…from the book of John this week.

I am hoping…to be a good example to my children.

I am hearing…the hum of the fan.

Around the house…there are corners that need dusting.

One of my favorite things…is to see my children happy

A few plans for the rest of the week: getting the house ready for visitors and a trip to the park with the kids.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…Freedom is not free, so please thank a Veteran.

This is hosted by The Simple Woman. Be sure to check her out as well as others who have linked up with her this month.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge!

This is a photo challenge hosted by I Heart Faces. They have awesome challenges with different themes every week. This week the challenge is “Play”
This is the first time I have entered this photo challenge. I look forward to seeing what others have entered this week!

This was my son at the park recently. He decided to see if he could bury himself in sand!

The L.E.N.S. photo challenge

The L.E.N.S. photo challenge

The LEarning Never Stops photo challenge.

This challenge comes from Home Is Where You Start From.
She is challenging us to take a photograph using or highlighting a theme she chooses each week. This week, the theme is colors!

I looked through my pictures that I have just recently taken and came across these 2 photos of my youngest children. We were visiting our neighbors flowers while they were in full bloom. She was telling us about the different types of flowers and how long they had been planted in her yard. The children had a blast looking at each type and seeing if they had different smells from each other.

We always have an adventure every time we are able to visit and talk with our wonderful neighbor Mrs. Dixie.
