WOW! Talk about being cold! We have had some cold weather lately. I do not think we have been above freezing in several days and it doesn’t look like we will be above freezing for the rest of the week. They are saying we have a chance of some snow tonight. Would be nice to wake up to another dusting of snow. We also have a chance on snow on Thursday and Friday. Looks like we will just have to wait and see. People ask me what do I do when it gets this cold or when it snows. Well, I stay inside!!! I do not go anywhere unless I absolutely have to! No sense in getting out and getting a chill when I can stay warm inside! Yes, the kids do tend to get a little stir crazy, but we play games and keep busy. Always a lot to do in this house with 4 kids! I am enjoying the cold weather though. We didn’t get this weather when we lived in Florida. I like having 4 different seasons. I love the mountains no matter what month it is. Even when the low is supposed to be 7!!

Have you ever had to apologize for something you did or said? I have and I can tell you it was hard. You want to always be right and do the right things, but sometimes you fail. That is hard to admit. To make things right, you should admit that you were wrong, ask God to forgive you and then go to that person, make things right and then ask for their forgiveness…

Hopefully all will end with everyone being happy….

Hard to believe that it is already 2010. Most people usually make new year resolutions. I thought I would make a few and see if I can stick them out.

1. Definitely the first on my list is to focus more on God. I think if I focus more on Him, everything else will fall in to place. So therefore, that means reading my Bible daily and praying more.

2. Devote more time to my family. It is so easy to get wrapped up in everything else that my family sometimes suffer. I will be doing my best to being there for my family foremost. Even if it means letting other things go.

3. Taking better care of myself. This past year, I have had several medical issues to surface. I am over weight to begin with so that doesn’t help much. My goal is to change to a healthier life style and even add some exercise (as my body will alllow) every day.

The above is just a few things I would like to see happen in 2010. I know I can accomplish all of the above. With God, ALL things are possible. And since focusing on God is first on my list, I know I can accomplish these 3 things.
