Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I have a lot of good memories about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was when my whole family on my dads side would get together. We would celebrate my grandma’s birthday on that day. She was a loved Grandma. I remember the last Thanksgiving we all had before she died. We have never had another Thanksgiving like that again. We had a lot of good times. When someone you love dies, it just isn’t the same. My dad passed about 1 1/2 years ago. For me, Thanksgiving is the hardest holiday to get through because of all of those wonderful memories. The picture I am posting was taken the month before our last Thanksgiving with my mom and dad.

We will again go to Florida to be with family this Thanksgiving season. Time is so short, that we need to enjoy every moment we have with the ones we love.

What is your favorite memory of the Thanksgiving holidays? Do you have any traditions that you do?

First Snow of the Year

First Snow of the Year

We had out first snow of the year on October 28th. It was absolutely beautiful. The kids had a blast playing in the snow. The only problem was that the snow was melted by noon time. We are hoping the next snow will stick around for a couple of days.

Well, The Election Is Over….

Well, the election is finally over. It has been a long time since they first started campaigning. I must say, I am truly disappointed with the out come of the election. I just pray we make it through the next 4 years without too much happening. God be with us!
