Featured Hip Homeschooler:

This week we’d like to feature Carrie from Live Learn & Love

Live, Learn, & Love Together

If you haven’t had a chance to check out her blog, you should! She blogs about homeschooling her 3 children and posts beautiful pictures of all of the fun things that they do each week.  One thing not to be missed on her blog, is the beautiful story of how they adopted their sweet daughter from China.  Carrie is such a blessing and great friend to Hip Homeschool Mom and we hope that you will take a moment and get to know her better this week!

Going Through A Difficult Time?

Going Through A Difficult Time?
Are you going through a difficult time in your life?  Are you having financial troubles and don’t know where to turn?  What about in need of a car because your old one is not working anymore?  Just recently moved and your old house needs to sell quickly?  I am sure most everyone has something in their life at this time to where they just don’t know what to do about a situation.  This has been me lately.  I have had health issues, money has been tight and we just had to have a crack fixed in our windshield.  As much as I want to fix everything myself, I can’t.  However, I know the one person who can. God.  He can and will supply all of my needs.  All I have to do is ask!  No matter how small or large the prayer request, He will answer!  Did you notice though I said needs?  Yes, needs!  Not wants!  God knows what you need and He will take care of you no matter what.  Just trust on Him and His holy name and he will provide all of your needs.

Check out these verses that I came across.  Remember that God will take care of you and your family!

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

41.  The awesome homeschool cookout we had on Saturday.
42.  The new homeschool friends we made on Saturday.
43.  The cold water of the river to help us cook off.
