Multitude Monday- A Thousand Gifts

Multitude Monday- A Thousand Gifts
holy experience

I have seen this on several blogs that I follow.  You are to list what you are thankful for or have been blessed with.  Once you start thinking about it, it is amazing at what you realize God has blessed you with.  I am going to start doing this also.  I know I have a lot to be thankful for.  God has truly blessed me throughout my life.  The evidence is all around me.

Won’t you join in also?  You can find more info about the Gratitude Community at Holy Experience.  Then once you see what it is all about you can link up today at Holy Experience.

Now for me to begin.  I am going to get the usual, normal ones out of the way first.

1. My salvation.
2. My husband of 17 1/2 years.
3. My 4 beautiful and healthy children.
4. A solid built house to protect us from the outside elements.
5. A vehicle that comfortably gets us from place to place.
6. My husband’s job that provides for our family.
7. The ability to stay home with my children.
8. The freedom to homeschool my children.
9. Our church family.
10. Our homeschool group.

Like I said, some are ones that you think of daily.  I am looking forward to seeing in the future what all God has blessed me and my family with and I hope you will come along on this journey with me and possibly join in also.

Our Homeschool Home

I am also going to join in with Robyn over at Our Homeschool Home with her Mingle Monday.  Be sure to stop by there and look at all the other awesome blogs linking up.

L.E.N.S. Challenge – all about bokeh

L.E.N.S. Challenge – all about bokeh

This weeks L.E.N.S. Challenge is -all about bokeh. What is bokeh? Bokeh is basically when you focus on an object and have a blurry background.
The pictures below are from this past spring when everything was in bloom.

This is a picture of a cherry tree blossom. (the kind that does not produce fruit, at least that is what I was told it was. lol!) To get this shot, I stood directly underneath the bloom and looked right at it. The background is of the above branches and leaves and the sunny blue sky. I just loved the pretty pink blossoms!

This picture was taken in my neighbor’s yard. As you can tell the butterfly is sitting on an azalea bush. The background was more azaleas in her yard.
Be sure to check out L.E.N.S. Challenge at Home Is Where You Start From. There are going to a lot of awesome “bokeh” pictures to look at!
