Christmas 2008

We spent Christmas in Florida this year. We headed down on the Friday before Christmas. The trip was great and uneventful. The following morning, we ate breakfast at a nice little restaurant and was headed to do a little bit of shopping. We hadn’t even made it through the first store and Samuel got extremely sick. So we spent the next several days cleaning up after this sick child. Samuel was not having a good time. I ended up getting a really bad cold/sinus infection. Thankfully, the other kids only had the sniffles. Other than us being sick, we had a very nice Christmas. We were able to visit with family and friends. The kids enjoyed Christmas morning. They received a lot of nice gifts from family. We were very thankful to be able to be in Florida with our loved ones and celebrate the birth of Jesus with them. In the next day or so, I will post a few pictures of the kids opening gifts.

Back Home From Florida

Back Home From Florida

We had a wonderful time in Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday. We first had Thanksgiving with my mom and brothers. It was great to see everyone together again. We had plenty to eat with a lot of leftovers. God has blessed our family over and over again. I am sharing a picture of my mom with all the grandkids. My mom had a wonderful time with everyone there.

Once we left my moms house, we went to Buddy’s dads house. We were really blessed to have 5 generations to come to Thanksgiving dinner. Buddy’s great grandma is 95 this year. She has lived a long eventful life and is still able to get out and about.

Since we stayed with Buddy’s mom for the Thanksgiving holiday, we didn’t have turkey there until Sunday evening. It was truly a wonderful time.

I pray everyone else had a blessed Thanksgiving this year. I know we are looking forward to spending Christmas with our family once again.
