I Heart Faces – Pet Photo Challenge

I Heart Faces – Pet Photo Challenge

Over at I Heart Faces, the challenge this week is “pets”.
For 2 days, we had the pleasure of having these little kittens as pets. The momma cat eventually moved them on along to another home. However, I took several pictures the day before they left. I knew the kids would want to remember the little kittens.

Be sure to head on over to I Heart Faces to check out the other pet photos. There are some really awesome photographers posting pictures today!

A New Day, A New Week

A New Day, A New Week

A new day, a new week. With God’s help, I will make it.

Philippians 4:13

13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Isaiah 41:10

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

A Nature Walk

A Nature Walk
Learning can happen anywhere. Even right outside your home. The younger kids were feeling a little better this afternoon so we went outside for a walk. We didn’t have to go far before the kids started discovering insects and spiders! Of course we had to take pictures of them so that we could try to identify them later. However, we are still no closer to figuring out what they are. All we know is that one is a spider and the other 2 are insects. Or are they bugs? Or are insects and bugs the same thing? WOW! More research we can do. Learning can be so much fun and doesn’t have to have a high price either! So go take walk with your children at the park or just around your house. You will be making memories for a lifetime!!

2 bugs on a Sunflower.
a bug on a tomato stake.
