Spring Reading Thing 2010

Spring Reading Thing 2010

This year I am participating in Spring Reading Thing 2010. Callapidder Days hosts this event every Fall and Spring. The Spring event will be held from March 20th-June 20th. I am behind in getting this out, but that is okay! You can join at any time!

What you do is make a list of books you would like to read during the Spring season. You can also set additional goals of reading if you would like, such as reading to your kids, or have your kids read to you! Write about it on your blog and give the permalink to Callapidder Days and you are on your way!

She does have certain guidelines that she would like for you to follow, so please check that out.

Below is my list of books I am hoping to make it through during the Spring Season. I may also add more throughout the Spring.

Raising Real Men by Hal and Melanie Young

66 Love Letters: A conversation with God That Invites You into His Story by Dr. Larry Crab

Petticoat Ranch by Mary Connealy

Salt Lake Dreams by Paige Winship Dooly

Love Finds You In Bridal Veil, Oregon by Miralee Ferrell

Love Find You in Valentine, Nebraska by Irene Brand

The Husband Tree by Mary Connealy

The Inheritance by Tamera Alexander

Love Finds You in Poetry, Texas by Janice Hanna

Rodeo Hearts by Joyce Livingston

Callie’s Mountain by Veda Boyd Jones

An Afternoon At The Park

An Afternoon At The Park

After dropping Sarah off at dance, I decided to take Samuel and Claire to the park. They had a wonderful time. They played in the sand and had fun sliding on the slide.

The best part about it was meeting up with some friends. They love playing with their friends in the sand!

Spring Time Fever

Spring Time Fever

We have had such gorgeous weather the last few days, that the kids have been taking advantage of it. After we finsihed learning about dinosaurs, reptiles and amphibians in school today, we decided to play some outside.

Samuel is all boy and one of his favorite sports is baseball. So he and Claire decided to have a little baseball game today. They used the bubble containers as bases. Then Samuel let Claire hit first. Well, she tried to hit! It was so funny listening to Samuel try and give Claire batting stance advice! Those kids sure do crack me up!
